Developing future specialists one student at a time.

About the Foundation

ABVP is proud to celebrate our 35th Anniversary with the launch of the ABVP Foundation, which will give current and future diplomates the chance to be part of something bigger than themselves, their practice and ABVP. The ABVP Foundation is one way we are working to develop future veterinarians through the awarding of scholarships and mentorship programs. The ABVP Foundation will take pride in developing future diplomates who will offer premium specialty care to animal owners.

Our Mission

Established in 2012, the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners Foundation was created with the mission to promote excellence in species-oriented veterinary medicine in clinical practice and academia. The ABVP Foundation will achieve this by not only utilizing fundraising efforts to support the development of veterinary students as they work to fulfill their academic requirements, but also to build awareness among animal owners as the importance of having an ABVP certified veterinarian is paramount in the health of their animal or livestock.
